Freedom

Lately I have been thinking a lot about freedom. The freedom to do as we want or feel we must do. In this society we simply do not have this luxury all the time. Well depending upon what it is you are looking to do. They say we are free to do as we wish, yet there are rules and laws in place that are not to be broken. Not just the laws either, if we choose to do something that other people in the society deem inappropriate they will make our actions hard for us to complete. They will put the seed of doubt in our heads because it is not something that they may feel as moral or right.

I believe that we are all on our own paths. That we are not ruled by anyone but ourselves. We all have a destiny to fulfill or a impact that much be made in someones or the worlds life. In order to complete these missions we must do things that are out of our comfort zones. We must remove ourselves from our human bodies and get in touch with a more spiritual side. I say this and it may seem religious, however it really is not. It is more a natural thing than anything. For those of you who believe in God, there is nothing wrong with that. You believe in something and for that I congratulate you. There are to many people who walk around empty and do not believe in anything. I choose to believe in Love. In the mother Earth. She is my God, or Goddess. I believe in her because I walk on her, I smell her and I see her. It does not mean I worship satan or practice witchcraft. I just simply choose to believe in Love, in the magic that love creates.

This brings me back to the prior topic, freedom. Yes, I have the freedom to believe in what I choose. If I shared this point of view with people close to me they would look at me like I was on drugs. If i shouted this out to the world, they would chastise me as a witch. So do I really have the freedom to believe what I want if I have to do it in secret? Personally, I do not care what others say of me. I only care what I say of me. I truly wish more people were like that. I love myself, I love my child. He is proof of the power of love. I love my boyfriend, and everyone I meet. They all teach me something new and show me something in myself or in the world that I had not known before.

I truly feel free. I wish I could pass this feeling onto everyone else. Help them to see that the issues they wake up to face everyday will someday fade away and be replaced by others. That life is truly a struggle. You will sometimes get stuck in your own mind and be unable to see the beauty that surrounds you. I wish I could help you see that beauty. To get you to see outside yourself and outside your own problems and see that the world is not a place to fear or to hide from, but an adventure should you choose to awaken your soul and take it.
